signature
Almost all pieces are unique. The signature of Martine Knoppert consists of a letter M and a K (rotated) in a square.
Below this signature is the year in short ‘10 (in 2010).
In recent years I number per object under the square, for example: 1631 is the 31th signed object from 2016.
Jewelry and polished pieces are not always signed.

COLLABORATION
I usually make my glass pieces myself
from beginning to end.
Since I Iearned how to engrave, there have been exceptions to this rule. A number of grails were blown by skilled glassblowers. They gave me the embryo’s to engrave on and finished the pieces. Read more about it:
Stories around Grails (in Dutch).
